Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) are powered by proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) that convert hydrogen into electricity, emitting only water vapor, and Hyto Energy provides critical technologies to support their performance and adoption. These vehicles store hydrogen in high-pressure tanks (35MPa or 70MPa), which Hyto engineers for safety, light weight, and maximum capacity, enabling ranges of 300-400 miles and refueling times of 3-5 minutes—comparable to conventional vehicles. The PEMFCs in FCVs, optimized by Hyto’s expertise, efficiently convert hydrogen and oxygen into electricity to power electric motors, delivering responsive acceleration and low noise. Hyto also supports FCV infrastructure, including refueling stations equipped with its electrolyzers (to produce green hydrogen on-site) and storage systems. For commercial applications, such as delivery trucks and buses, Hyto offers larger fuel cell systems and tanks to meet higher energy demands. FCVs are particularly well-suited for long-haul and heavy-duty use, where battery weight and charging time are limiting factors. By advancing fuel cell technology, hydrogen storage, and refueling infrastructure, Hyto Energy helps make FCVs a viable, sustainable option for both consumer and commercial transportation, driving the transition to low-carbon mobility.
